Surrounding Area: Rural area, House sits about 100 feet off of a main road which usually has light traffic. There is a cornfield to the north of the home. There are woods to the south of the home. There are houses 220 feet to the west and 110 feet east of the home. Moon Phase: Full Moon 100% of the moon disk illuminated. Solar X-Rays - Normal , Geomagnetic Field - Quiet , Moon - waxing Gibbous , full moon. Outside Temp. Low 30's Investigators: Lead investigator: Phil, Julie, Chrystal, Billie, Brian Equipment Used: 5 digital voice recorders, 5 digital cameras, EMF meter, 3 Dig. Thermometers, Compass and a Motion detector History of Location: The property itself was bought by the current family in 1955. A foundation existed already on the land and a house was constructed over this foundation in 1957. The same family has lived in the house ever since. Reason for Investigation: The claims of activity began with when the house was being constructed, with tools being moved, or gone missing completely. The washer and dryer were moved from the basement into the kitchen/dining area due to a complete fear of the basement. Over the last few years activity is claimed to have ranged from seeing shadows and hearing voices to the feeling of being held down in bed accompanied by a cold sensation. Two weeks before this investigation someone was spun completely around while sitting in a computer chair in one of the bedrooms. There are also claims of some feelings of fear and anxiety outside of the house, especially in the backyard area. It is also claimed that a compass will not point north along the east side of the house. Physical Evidence: We setup two IR cameras and a Mini-DV camera in the basement, since there was an overwhelming fear of the basement as well of claims of seeing shadows we wanted to cover as many angles as possible. We also set up a High-8 camera in the family room area. Many pictures were taken and EVP sessions were performed in the basement, bedrooms and the family room. An alarm clock was found near the head of the bed to be giving off very high EMF readings. It was brought to the attention of the homeowner that this could be a potential health hazard and should be moved away from an area where a person could sleep for many hours and continuously be exposed to these high EMF's. There was an issue with a Motion detector that was set up in one of the bedrooms, it would just turn off. Batteries were checked it was tested in the kitchen area and worked fine. Was brought back into the bedroom, and turned off again on its own. This happened at about the same time that one of the investigators digital recorder lost power also. Conclusion: Everything that was caught on the cameras in the basement seemed to be dust particles. Particles could even be seen in a flashlight beam by eye, so anything caught on the cameras in the basement can't be claimed as paranormal activity. The camera in the family room was continuously being obstructed by the front door being opened and closed by people coming and going. One EVP was captured in the basement. A woman saying "I speak Spanish". No other activity was recorded at this time. The homeowner has been furnished copies of all evidence collected. The outside of the house was not investigated due to the cold weather and have recommended a return trip during warmer weather to complete that area of the investigation. One investigator had picked up on a few things in the house and spoke privately with the homeowners. These conversations will remain private and not be submitted with this report. The fact is spiritual activity can't be turned on and off at will and we may have been there on a quiet night. The homeowner has been told that they can call us at anytime if the claimed activities continue or if other questions pop up. Its hard to form an opinion of a place after one, 4 hour visit. There is no question that the family as a whole over the years has been through alot and we wish the best for them. We extremely enjoyed there company and hospitality during our investigation.
